Homan Mousavi

Brief info

Houman is an Iranian political activist, blogger, and human rights advocate. He holds a master’s degree in robotics and intelligent systems. Born in prison during the 1980s, his parents were executed during the same period. After the 2009 Iranian presidential election, he was arrested and spent nearly three years in Ward 350 of Evin Prison, where he was tortured and forced to sign false confessions. The documentary "Born in Prison" narrates the story of his life and struggles. Homan has also collaborated with the Mourning Mothers and is the founder of the Norwegian-Iranian Network.
