Mansoureh Ali Asgari

Brief info

Mansoureh Ali Asgari is an Iranian human rights activist currently based in Germany.
She began her human rights work years ago inside Iran, after witnessing firsthand the widespread violations, discrimination, and suppression that permeated Iranian society. Following the Woman, Life, Freedom movement and the uprising sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini, her commitment to defending women's rights deepened, and she has continued on that path with unwavering belief in the principles of Woman, Life, Freedom.

After leaving Iran, Mansoureh continued her collaboration with the Center for Human Rights Defense in Iran, working across committees focused on women's rights, the environment, labor rights, and freedom of religion. She is currently an active member of the United Against Gender Apartheid campaign and the No to Executions Tuesdays initiative.

We are the voice of the Iranian people and political prisoners, she says, and we will not be silenced until freedom and justice are achieved.
