Maryam Aflaki

Brief info

Maryam Aflaki Dehkordi is a Germany-based political activist and women's rights advocate, holding a degree in law and working as a legal consultant.
A committed voice in the Woman Life Freedom movement, she has spent the past year working alongside Masih Alinejad in support of political prisoners and the fight for the freedom of women in Iran and Afghanistan.

Her legal background sharpens her activism, she approaches the struggle for justice not only with passion, but with the tools to articulate it in the language of rights and accountability.
Her work sits at the intersection of law and resistance: defending the dignity of those imprisoned for their beliefs, and demanding a world where women in Iran and Afghanistan are free.
